Hi there.
My name is Melanie Wilcher and my beautiful companion is Paisley.
She is a blue merle Australian Shepherd-Border Collie mix.
Paisley's pretty picture is on the home page with her Caribbean blue eyes.
I have been passionately involved with animals since before I could even talk or walk.
My first memory as a baby was sitting on the back of a horse in Oregon USA where I grew up.
Paisley and I together relocated to Belize in April 2015 where I immediately became involved with the local Placencia Humane Society as a volunteer.
Recognizing a real need for the humane society, my involvement quickly progressed into something much bigger. I am now the President for PHS.
